On Correctness, Not on Outcome
Sometimes, the fact that you do or have done what is or was right matters more than the result itself. In fact, not sometimes, but always!
Today I note that Elon Musk too has become a supporter of the ideas promoted and enacted in #TheSovereigntyLaw.
We of #TheCoalitionForTheNation proposed, as early as 2021, clear legal norms and the criminalisation of the modification of the sexual identity of minors.
In 2023 Musk proposes the same thing.
Let us give him a model of legislation in this field:
Article 6
Law 272 of 21 June 2004 on the protection and promotion of the rights of the child, republished, published in the Official Gazette no. 159 of 5 March 2014, as subsequently amended and supplemented, is amended and supplemented as follows:
(1) In article 9, after paragraph (1), a new paragraph is introduced, para. (11), with the following content:
“The biological sexual identity of the child acquired at birth may not be modified before the age of 18.”
(2) In article 28, after paragraph (4), a new paragraph is introduced, para. (5), with the following content:
“It is forbidden to make available to children under the age of eighteen any information or materials that promote departure from biological sexual identity, gender reassignment and homosexuality.”
Article 9
Law no. 286 of 17 July 2009 on the Criminal Code, published in the Official Gazette no. 510 of 24 July 2009, as subsequently amended and supplemented, is amended and supplemented as follows:
(2) In article 197, after paragraph (1), two new paragraphs are introduced, paras. (2)–(3), with the following content:
“(2) The act of causing a minor who has not reached the age of 18 to modify their biological sexual identity acquired at birth is punished by imprisonment of from 7 to 15 years.
(3) If the act provided for in the preceding paragraph was committed by a parent, guardian, teacher or professor, or if it produced physical consequences upon the minor, the special limits of the penalty are increased by one third.”
Yes, regardless of the fact that those of #TheCoalitionOfTreason rejected this law, I know that I did what I had to do, even though I was marginalised and demonised for it.
The price paid was worth it… for when I look in the mirror, truly, I am not ashamed — neither before myself and my own, nor before God — and that is probably the greatest reward.
