The War at the Border

Since February 2022, the war has moved to Romania’s border. I wrote about it from the first day and was promptly labelled a “propagandist”, which confirmed to me that the questions were good ones.

The texts here look at the conflict from every side: the front and its figures, the propaganda of both camps, the negotiations, the Bystroye Canal and the quiet aggression on the Danube, the grain, the fate of the Romanians beyond the Prut, the bases and the missiles on our own soil.

Above them all stands a single question, which I have not tired of repeating and to which I have never received an answer: where, in all this war, does Romania’s interest lie?
