The Need for an Enemy
Western society, of which we form part, functions emotionally and intellectually in a purely binary system. We have A or not-A, and that is all. This unlike the Near East, which synthesises and reduces everything to A, or the Far East, where the Indian, for instance, is “designed” to think in the tetralemma: A or not-A, A and not-A, neither A nor not-A.
Dualism is a constant of the Western mind; only, instead of this feature of our way of thinking becoming more refined, more elaborate, we have for decades been sliding from a Cartesian dualism into a bogomilism of the cheap-pop variety.
What we are living through today is exemplary of what I have said above.
For Western society, whose second essential trait is its warlike and expansive character, shows us today that in a world it has overrun economically and culturally, “globalising” it, it has run out of fuel: it has run out of enemies!
That is, we are in acute want of not-A.
Hence the constant need to discover ever new enemies, seen and unseen! Without them the Western world would succumb, would implode from the manifest lack of intellectual and spiritual substance that follows upon the self-destruction of the one element which gave the West substance and meaning — and here I mean, of course, Christianity.
But let us return to enemies. What else could gather and discipline a population in intellectual, moral and social dissolution, if not “the Enemy”? How could you absolutely control such a population if not by telling it that “the Enemy is near!”, “the Enemy is listening!”… or, as the pop-manea singers have it: “My enemies bear me a grudge…”
That is why Western society is in Search of enemies! The other day the Secretary General of NATO told us again that “the Enemy is near”… in the end he could not specify what the danger is, what we are threatened with, but it is clear that this enemy exists: is it China, is it Russia, is it both? It does not even matter! It is good that we have an enemy. What use is it to be “Allies” and to pay hundreds of billions for weapons without an enemy? “Life would be a desert”…
But if the military need a visible, identifiable enemy (that is, until they announce the imminent extraterrestrial invasion, of course!), for politicians and for the Deep State the Enemy must remain invisible: terrorists (fewer today), and above all viruses! Viruses that turn one’s neighbour into an enemy if he is unmasked, unvaccinated, undisciplined! Today, since the plandemonium, we live in a world with nearly 8 billion enemies! What better could they have found for our narrow and crooked minds and souls?
That is why I think a “fourth wave” around September–October is quite likely, but perhaps also COVID-24… who knows?
What is the use of all I have told you?
None! Only that we may understand that “the Enemy is near and listening”… because this enemy hides within us: it is our way of being and of thinking… until we defeat this terrible Enemy, our masters and our True enemies will go on singing us maneles about enemies… and we shall believe them! and we shall hate one another to death!
