On His First Appearance After Last Week’s Protests, Prime Sinister Cîțu Informs Us That
“The measures we have taken are producing results.”
and that
“In Romania the green certificates (‘vaccination passports’) will not be implemented”!
What is more, he tells us with pride that
“The incidence rate of the virus is falling slightly in Bucharest.”
The fact that the incidence rate has fallen from 7.8 at the beginning of the protests to 6.85 yesterday shows that indeed the measures we have taken are producing results! But not the measures taken by the govnor — ours, the measures of those of us who took to the street!
Evidently, had the protests continued another six weeks or so, the incidence rate would probably have reached 0.
Nevertheless, Mîțu maintains that “in no case were the protests the basis of the decision to return to normality”, and that the protesters must “Observe the legislation in force!”
He asks us to observe the “legislation in force” — us, who ask the Prime Sinister to stop breaking the Constitution!
And to stop misinforming!!!
For Mîțu has just told us that Romanians who have been immunised naturally do not enter into the calculation of mass immunisation. Concretely, Romania considers that only Romanians who get vaccinated have been immunised, although several million Romanians have had the illness and have antibodies, but the state does not test them.
And he further announces that
“We are accelerating the vaccination campaign…
Everything depends on the vaccination campaign… it is the only solution for reopening the economy.
Vaccination is the only solution.
The involvement of the Church in the vaccination campaign is needed.”
And that only thus will it be possible for
“1 June to be the first step towards the return to normality.”

Three conclusions:
1. The protests had effects!
(Had we been more numerous and more determined, the effects would have been far closer to what we demanded!)
2. What Prime Sinister Mîțu “offered us” is absolutely insufficient!
3. The fight for the return to normality must go on!

WE ASK THE CHURCH, WITH HUMILITY AND BROTHERLY LOVE, NOT TO INVOLVE ITSELF IN THE POLICIES OF THE STATE!
ANY ACT OF COLLABORATIONISM COULD HAVE DISASTROUS EFFECTS UPON THE CREDIBILITY OF THE CHURCH!
