Luni, 6 Martie 2023, ne vedem de la ora 14.00 în fața Ambasadei Ucrainei să spunem clar și tare

Ukraine, stop the aggression against the Danube Delta!!!

Vă așteptăm pe toți cei cărora le pasă de destinul acestei popor, de viitorul acestei țări, indiferent de convingeri, orientări sau apartenențe politice!

Vă așteptăm mai ales pe voi, verzii, ecologiștii, susținătorii grean-deal-ului, să veniți să susțineți cauza Deltei Dunării. Arătați că sunteți consecvenți cu voi înșivă, cu principiile și valorile pe care clamați că le susțineți! Veniți și arătați că sunteți și români, nu doar „verzi”, și că între „corectitudinea-politică” de tip „Slava Ucraina” și urgența salvării Deltei… alegeți Delta și interesul național!

Apoi, de la 18.00, ne vedem la Cafenea pentru Națiune (la adresa Str Petru Cercel NR 1, Sector 4, București) să discutăm despre #ConstituțiaSuveranității. Da, săptămâna viitoare discuțiile vor avea loc luni și nu miercuri, ca de obicei.

Post scriptum: o voi anunța despre protestul nostru și pe Greta. Pe Greta Thurnberg, desigur. Cine știe, poate apare să susțină Delta.

my name is Dan MV Chitic, I am a lawyer and I am writing to you from România.

I am calling on you în this way to ask for your help în an environmental problem of planetary gravity: the Danube Delta, a UNESCO site and Biosphere Reserve, is irreparably affected at this very moment by the dredging works carried out illegally by Ukraine on Bâstroe canal.

According to the words of an expert în the matter of the Danube Delta, the professor Alfred Vespremeanu, Director of the Marine and River Research Station "Sf. Gheorghe", he explained în the press that "if you dredge the Bâstroe canal, then the first consequence în terms of hydrology will be that this arm will draw more water from the collateral arms. It is about the old Stambul, which is the largest branch în the Chilia Delta, and then the Oceacov branch, which is în an erosion phase anyway."

"If the entire Chilia branch were to deepen up to Ismail (...) It would slowly draw more water from the Tulcea branch, from the Romanian branches - Sulina and Sfântu Gheorghe - which is not desired."

The specialist's conclusion is simple: "(Dredging the Bâstroe Canal) It is an unacceptable pressure în one of the few deltas that remain very beautiful and natural""

În other words, at these very moments, illegal work is being done that is destroying one of the most spectacular and valuable ecosystems în Europe and the world.

That's why I appeal to you, dear Greta, and call you to România to come to the aid of the Danube Delta, thus putting your entire reputation and media power în support of the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve.
