The Battle of the Security Gangs

Hellvig’s departure has set off a savage brawl among the countless gangs of security men. The stake: total control of the domestic intelligence service and, with it, of Romania.

Hence the ferocity of the protagonists.

We shall see spectacular revelations and ritual executions of System men. Carried out by other System men, naturally.

Nothing will change. Only the chiefs.

But until then… we shall weep crocodile tears — with laughter, obviously — at the fall and the suffering of each little security man. The longer the “transition” lasts, the better we shall be entertained.

Prepare for a hot summer. And for many falling stars.

Stock up on popcorn — and lemon: a good many ethicists and shapers of opinion are about to wake up with their epaulettes bare.
