Farewell to Father Ilie Georgescu

Today I have been left a little more orphaned: Father Ilie Georgescu, the priest who baptised me and married me, the confessor who was a barrier against my wanderings and my excesses and an unwavering guide towards the things of God, has today departed to the Lord.

God rest him in peace.

Father Georgescu’s body lies at the Church of Saint Stelian Lucaci.
