The Word of Father Georgescu

Father Georgescu, at whose side God has granted me to stand as a spiritual son for forty-five years, said to me:

“We are the only country in Europe still building churches, and we have opened more than a thousand churches across the continent. Probably that is our calling. This country is worth fighting for, however hard it may be, for it is a fight for God and for the faith as well…”

He said this although he knows well, all too well, everything that is happening in our society, which is “on the way to extinction”. Such is the advantage of a view of the world and of life from the height of ninety-two years.

Yes, there are still sparks of living light in our lives. Let us thank the Lord for them.
