Yesterday a Miracle Occurred
414 days after its “conception”, six months less two days after its publication in the Official Gazette, the draft Sovereignty Law has reached its destination: Parliament!
It was the immense labour of a wonderful team!
The process of gathering signatures for the Sovereignty Law has come to an end.
Through the immense effort of many of my friends we managed to gather roughly 33,000 signatures. That is a great deal, a very great deal for the winter season, in the middle of a pandemic, with restrictions and terror on the part of the authorities. A great deal — but not enough to send the Sovereignty Law from the street straight into Parliament under Art. 74 of the Constitution and Law 189/1999.
Only last Thursday, a mere two days before yesterday’s closing event of the signature-gathering process… everything seemed lost. Everything! An immense effort… for nothing! So it seemed.
And yet, no, it was not to be so!
In the midst of a black season, in times of war, dictatorship and plandemic, the Lord was forbearing with us and gave us one more hope. He granted us one more chance!
Yes — for with God’s help, WE HAVE WON!
Although we did not manage to gather the minimum 100,000 signatures required by the Constitution, the deputies @[100001834702855:2048:Daniel Ghiță] and @[100013585321493:2048:Dumitru Coarna], together with 6 other parliamentarians, offered to carry our law, #TheSovereigntyLaw, into Parliament. They replied promptly to the e-mail I sent on Friday, 25.02.2022, to all the parliamentarians. And I thank them for having done so!
A miracle worked by God through wonderful people!
We thank them warmly and remain grateful to them!
We thank Mr Daniel Ghiță and Mr Dumitru Coarnă. And the other 6 parliamentarians!
And above all we thank God for having given them the good thought!
Our fight will now continue, indirectly, in Parliament, where we shall make interpellations, petitions and letters to the parliamentarians in order to oblige them to hear our voice, the voice of those in the street! In order to force Parliament to debate, to vote and to adopt the Sovereignty Law!
This situation makes us understand that Laws are written and amended in Parliament… by Parliamentarians. That it is hard, all but impossible without the Lord’s help, to carry a Bill from the street into Parliament. And it is harder still, from the street, to make a Bill become a Law!
That is why I believe we shall have to choose whether we wish to remain in the street, from where we make legislative proposals in our own interest and in that of our nation,
or whether we wish to go into Parliament, the place where Laws are written and amended, and from there write the laws in our own interest, in the interest of our children and of our nation!
We shall have to decide whether we wish to remain together in the street, civic fighters for Sovereignty, or to pass together into the political battle front, fighters in Parliament for Sovereignty!
We have proved that we know how, and are able, to listen to one another, to consult one another!
We have proved that we know how, and are able, to identify problems and to distil concrete solutions!
We have proved that we know how, and are able, to write Laws better and better made than the present parliamentarians!
I thank you all enormously for the efforts you have made!
Your striving has not been without effect!
But the time has come to know and to choose what is best for us to do for the country:
DO WE CARRY ON THROUGH CIVIC ACTION?
DO WE CARRY ON THE FIGHT BY ENTERING POLITICS?
WE, TOGETHER, CHOOSE!
CIVIC or POLITICAL?
We decide!
Whatever your decision may be regarding our possible future political involvement, our work within the Association We Want Sovereignty will continue.
There we have already set up a Think Tank, a group of reflection, For the Nation, which some of the most brilliant minds I know have already joined: Ilie Șerbănescu — our elder by years,

The list of course remains open, awaiting others who wish to identify the problems of our society and to seek solutions.
One thing is certain: our problems as a nation are great, and those who guide us are either ill-intentioned or incapable.
That is why we are obliged to find solutions. And if we do not find them, to invent them!
So help us God
