The Pandemic of Stupidity
I shall shock you.
I really do believe in the Pandemic.
But I am not referring to the virosis now.
I refer to the Pandemic of Stupidity which has struck the planet.
People of every station, from every walk of life, from every country have been infected with the virus of stupidity. You know the symptoms: fear, psychosis, manias, conformism…
I observe, however, that we are on the point of attaining herd immunity, at which moment the virus of stupidity will no longer be so virulent; indeed we shall become wholly immune to this strain of stupidity.
In addition, hunger is probably the best antiviral, the best vaccine against the virus of stupidity.
And again I observe that more and more people are beginning to be vaccinated with the antiviral “Hunger”.
Yes, the majority still pretend to understand and accept the “sanitary measures” of govnor Cîțu.
But clearly Romanians are only pretending… just as before ’89 everyone pretended to be convinced by communism, but would have handed over their party card or their pioneer’s scarf at once for a can of Coke.
So too today the great majority merely pretend still to believe in “the necessity of the sanitary measures”… of course, there are also people still terrified of the virosis! Just as there were still people imbued with communist ideology even on 22 December ’89!
But the proportion of the “immunised” exceeds that of the dogmatised.
And they know it!
Whence the desperation and the fury in taking measures ever stricter, ever more absurd, ever more unlawful and unconstitutional!
But it will be in vain.
And they know that too!
Whence the desperation!
It remains for us only to be NotFoolish!
Immunised against the virus of stupidity.
Only thus shall we be able to learn the Truth!
Only thus shall we be able to be Free!
So help us God!
