114 years since the beginning of the revolt of 1907.
Then, as now, most Romanians worked in serf conditions on properties owned or managed by foreigners — properties which were nothing other than the lands that had belonged to their forefathers.
Then, hunger and despair forced them to face the liberal government, the army it sent, and death, shouting
WE WANT LAND!
Today, 114 years later, again a liberal government — #TheGovernmentOfDeath, the gauverner that kills our brothers and our parents in the hospitals, that treats us like serfs and that sells everything of ours, leaving us poor and without hope — forces us to revolt and to shout:
#WeWantSovereignty!
Today, however, you will not have to go out bare-chested and barefoot, armed only with pitchforks and scythes, before an army with cannon and rifles.

Postscript: the irony of history has it that today the monument to the peasants killed in 1907 stands in Buzău exactly in front of the headquarters of the PNL — the heirs, crossbred with Marxists, of the murdering Liberals of 1907!
An irony of history?
Probably just cynicism. Or stupidity — both of them slogans and principles of today’s “liberals”!
