Forgive Me for Interrupting…
Forgive me for interrupting your discussions about the elections in the USA and about pro or anti vaccination with the vaccine we do not have… I trouble you with a question:
You have grown used to the “new normality”, have you not?
It no longer troubles you either that
— within localities the movement of persons in pedestrian groups larger than 6 who do not belong to the same family is forbidden
— in all localities the movement of persons outside the dwelling/household is forbidden between 23.00 and 5.00
— you are obliged to wear masks that are scientifically proved ineffective
— the holding of gatherings on the occasion of feasts, anniversaries and parties in closed and/or open, public and/or private spaces is forbidden;
— the organisation and holding of rallies, demonstrations, processions, concerts or other kinds of assembly in open spaces is forbidden
— you are permanently checked by the tax authorities without a judicial warrant
— you sit in the cold and without hot water in the Capital of Romania, assailed by the rubbish in the street and by the rats that gambol upon it
— the Romanian state has *de facto* suspended the Constitution of Romania…
— the Cîțu government freezes pensions and salaries in contempt of the law and of the Constitutional Court.
As for the fact that the same Cîțu government is preparing to plunder everything we still have around here, I no longer even ask you… nobody has ever cared about that!
Nothing troubles you any more… in one year you have already forgotten what it is to be free, have you not?
Admit it! I know it hurts, but you have grown used to being the subjects, the underlings of a totalitarian state… to being the slaves of the “new normality”!
I know… I am mad and a denialist, I exaggerate.
In fact all these dictatorial measures are taken for our own good!
Everything is temporary… as the wearing of the mask will be! By the way, do you know that even if you are vaccinated you will still wear masks… for an indefinite period. As it will be with the loss of the rights you gave up so easily.
Once again I beg you to forgive me for interrupting with these subjects your new-normal Lives — you, the new-normal citizens of the world of the New Normality.
