It Is Finished! The Bill Was Voted Through by the LIBE Committee on “Rights and Liberties” (sic)

The illusions have been dispelled: the “rule of law” has definitively defeated “the rights of man and of the citizen” — and this at European level.

From today, officially and explicitly, Europe has chosen the path of authoritarianism and of the abuse of power.

From today the Union is no longer a union of the nations and peoples of Europe.

From today the European Union has become strictly a union of “capitals” and of state and supra-state “structures”.

From today we are no longer “European citizens”, but merely “European subjects”.

From today Europe will be in its own image and likeness…
