On the Conception by Saint Anna

“Today the world celebrates the conception by Saint Anna, which was of God; for she gave birth to Her who, beyond all words, gave birth to the Word.” — Kontakion for the Feast of the Conception of the Holy Virgin Mary by Saint Anna.

Postscript: in the heart of Rome I found a Romanian church, a community full of faith, humility and good order — such as one rarely finds at home — but above all… a great longing for home.

Many, too many good and beautiful people gone far away, so far from the place that is theirs. From our country.
