If You Speak, I Shall Feign Deafness
I say not nay, nor do I praise you;
Dance as the fancy takes you,
I neither hiss at you nor clap;
But no man living shall make me
Follow the sound of his own flute;
This is my calling: the truth
To seek in my own heart alone.
Because Eminescu… the divine Eminescu!
