The prophecy

[Psalm 45:7] Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

[Psalm 45:8] All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia.

[Psalm 102:26] They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed.

[Psalm 102:27] But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.

The fulfilment

[Luke 1:33] And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

[Hebrews 1:12] And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

Born in Bethlehem:

The prophecy

[Micah 5:2] But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

The prophecy

[Daniel 9:25] Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

[Matthew 2:17] Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying,

[Matthew 2:18] In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.
