My Decision, After the Third of January
My dears,
Following the events of today, 3 January 2026, I have realised, without a shadow of doubt, that my decision of nearly a year ago to withdraw from public life was the right one: the world is going in the right direction! Good and its principles have radiated and been implemented in all social strata, everywhere in the world! From Venezuela to Romania, from Ukraine to Iran, justice and democracy will win (I nearly said “will prevail”)!
Moreover, the fact that the great majority of the population of the civilised world (of which we are proudly a part) acclaims this state of affairs confirms to me that things are moving irremediably along the good and right course of history!
For which reason I consider that any effort to add something to what is already very good is entirely useless.
Therefore, acknowledging at their just value and admiring the deeds of the leaders of the civilised world, I consider that no word, no deed can add any value to the valorous and moral deeds, to the wise decisions of our leaders.
That is why, thanking my followers humbly, I shall now bring definitively to an end any involvement in the public life of a society which is indubitably going in the best direction imaginable.
I thank you and I wish that the Lord may keep our steps and our lives in His care!
