On Bitcoin and Sanctions

The happenings that feed our daily paranoia: on Sunday, 3 February 2019, The New York Times ran the headline: “Bitcoin could help Iran subvert sanctions”.

Today, 6 February 2019, Bloomberg asks “What Crypto Exchange Founder’s Death Illustrates About Bitcoin”…

And I ask myself the same thing.

Postscript: what is certain is that from today the Bitcoin “loophole” has closed for the Iranians. Good job! ;)
